NOTE: when installing unit in a car previously equipped with a factory power antenna, you MUST make wire connections before they reach the factory antenna relay. Factory equipped power antenna cars have a semi-automatic antenna (1978-92) which has a switching relay in line, which will have to be by-passed when using this fully automatic antenna (which has an internal relay) or antenna connections can be made directly to power, ground & the signal wire from the radio.
