Very early 1956 Corvettes to approximately serial number 1360 have headlamp bezels painted the exterior body color. From serial number 1360 to approximately 1600 they are either painted or chrome. The remainder of 1956 production through 1957 use chrome bezels. Headlamp bezels are attached with slotted head screws. Included is a gasket between the headlamp and the bezels.
