The main air conditioning lines are located on the passenger’s side in the Corvette engine compartment. Each of the main lines has a capped valve (fill point), which has a black plastic cap on the valve opening. One line goes to the Receiver/Drier and the other line goes to the condenser up front.
These air conditioning check valve caps chrome-plated covers are made in copper, and then chrome plated for lasting quality.
They have a small hole in the top, similar to the original plastic cap they cover. They are designed to simply slip over the existing caps to give a nice finishing touch under the hood.
