This is a new non-power antenna conversion or manual antenna replacement kit. Remove your factory unit and install this kit in its place. This kit consists of a new Base, a 6.75" mast and amp. Reception has proven to be very good with the amp and short antenna mast combination. Simply attach ground strap. Wire to ignition power source & connect antenna cable. The base unit pushes up throught the factory grommet/bezel which locks it in place, as did the original unit.
